Happy Birthday Mark
Yesterday I left warm sand between my toes, tall green mountains reaching into a clear sky, and gentle deep blue tropical ocean water filled with every color fish imaginable. I was soaking in the tropical surroundings in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. It is an excellent time to visit a warm island prior to preparing for the coming winter. Of course, the weather in Tahoe has turned from clear fall skies to a dark cloudy covering that has been dropping rain since my return with much more to come in the next few days. We need the water and snow should some accompany the predicted rain.
We were so lucky to meet up with Mark and Ann at the incredible ocean view condominium they were renting for the week prior to our arrival. The occasion was Mark’s 60th birthday. We enjoyed an evening with Mark and Ann watching the sun set from the roof top dining area at Fleetwood’s restaurant in Lahaina. One more big Happy Birthday wish to Mark.
Now it is time to begin to look forward to ski season.
Enjoy your day,
Andy
Mark and Ann on his birthday
Thanks Andy. We enjoyed spending some time with you and Colleen in a warmer environment.
I love that photo, thank you Andy.
Happy Birthday! Thanks for the blogs and updates on Palisades Tahoe (where is that? LOL) I am turning 70 and will be in Maui next week. We have had a home in Alpine Meadows for 21 years. (The quiet side) Learned how to ski at Tahoe Ski Bowl and Alpine with Bob Everson (RIP). Looking forward to a great ski season!

You are a fortunate man / Ann can you look any younger? Making us all look bad
I forgot Mark was so young. That explains a lot, maybe everything. Belated happy birthday and maybe some returns.
