The Truckee Sports Exchange has been a site sponsor at UnofficialAlpine.com since the very beginning. We’ve seen a lot of changes there over the years, all of the them just keep making it better and better. From its humble beginnings as a second hand store for sporting goods, it’s morphed into somewhat of the unofficial ski shop of Alpine Meadows. Nearly every employee has coached skiing or tele at SquAlpine, and that leads to people having a very comfortable relationship with the employees. When former store manager Rob Cavallo took ownership of the store last fall, he left no doubt that he is just getting started in creating something special.
This Saturday, February 22nd, the Truckee Sports Exchange will be hosting a grand re-opening and customer appreciation sale from 3 – 7 pm. There will be items for sale at up to 70% off. All of the Tahoe ski shops have the same problem – business has been slow this season. While the Sports Exchange has sold plenty of beater skis and done plenty of base repairs this season, sales of new gear has been slow. This is a great time to step up your game and move up to some new gear while coverage is good better. At the same time you can help Rob, Danny, Jaques and the other guys clear out inventory before the season ends.
You get a free raffle ticket just for showing up, and additional raffle tickets can be purchased to support the Sierra Avalanche Center. There’s some cool prizes available, with the top prize being the winner’s choice of skis. There’s also snacks and refreshments and music to contribute to the party atmosphere. See you there!
You really make it appear really easy along with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be
really something that I feel I might by no
means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and extremely wide for me.
I am having a look forward for your subsequent submit, I will try
to get the cling of it!
