Yesterday I took my mountain bike up to the top of Lakeview Chair. The scene afforded from the top was exciting as it offered a beautiful view of the lake as well as the first snow of the season above Heavenly Valley. The trail up to Lakeview was as good as it will ever get for biking. It is amazing what a decent rain will do to the trails as well as lowering the fire danger.

Today I hiked up to Lake Estelle. A couple of photos I took of the approach to the lake with Estelle Peak in the background are included for those who may not seen it before. It looks a little different than one would find it in the winter. On my way back down I shot another photo of the construction occurring around the base area.
