Bear Valley Offers Free Skiing To Passholders From Other Mountains Through The 14th

share-the-snowBear Valley Ski Resort is offering a sweet deal through their last week of operations for the season. Just show your pass from Alpine Meadows (or any mountain) to receive a free lift ticket. The offer runs through their closing day, Sunday April 14th. Bear Valley received 12″ of snow in the last storm and reports a base of 71″.

Although you may not want to miss the traditional snow golf tourney and passholder bbq this weekend at Alpine Meadows, a weekday rally to Bear Valley may offer a chance to see a different mountain, for free. Bear Valley skiers wanting to check out Alpine Meadows would have to pay $60 for the privilege..

Even if you don’t have a pass for skiing, Bear Valley will also offer tickets to people with season passes to Great America, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and numerous other summer attractions. It’s a nice creative marketing move by the folks at Bear Valley.

With Highway 4 closed at Ebbetts Pass, the only route to Bear Valley is from the west. That makes it a long journey from Tahoe, but is very do-able from those coming from the Bay area or Sacramento valley.

Complete details of the offer are here.
