Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

I was out on the hill making turns this morning, Although we need some new snow to freshen up the mountain, the skiing was quite good. Groomed runs were soft and smooth. Off piste I found more moguls than I really wanted to visit, but they were friendly. Bumps were firm and challky,  allowing me to set an edge and slowly maneuver myself down the hill. I actually enjoy skiing moguls, especially slowly and in control.

I worked up a sweat skiing Wolverine, Alpine Bowl under ABC Chair, Yellow Trail, Terry’s Return, and High Yellow. I also skied Expert Shortcut, but I would not really recommend it as there are many rocks hiding on the backside of some pretty large moguls. The good winter conditions (at least I would call them better than acceptable) are making this Christmas especially nice for those of us lucky enough to be in the mountains.
