Moving to Tahoe?

Just as it was turning sunny and warm the weather changed back to cool, cloudy, windy, and rainy this week. It does not get much better for the near future. Cloudy, windy, cool and perhaps rain or snow next week.

Are you thinking of leaving your office in the dust or just tiptoeing back to it on occasion? If you have been working from home, and no longer traveling to your office during the Covid 19 pandemic, are you thinking of continuing to work from home once things move back to normal? Of course arriving to some sort of normalcy looks as if it will take a long time.

People in the real estate industry are noting that clients are indicating serious interest in fleeing urban areas and moving to resort areas such as Lake Tahoe. Activity in our area is showing signs of life which might be attributed to the stay at home workforce seeking less crowded conditions where outdoor activities are plentiful. I have no firm data to back up this theory, but local Realtors are expressing this among themselves. If you are thinking of making a permanent move to a resort community, wherever it may be, I would appreciate you leaving a short comment to this blog.

Here are a couple of homes that would make excellent primary homes. My listing in Alpine Meadows in the Juniper Mt. Subdivision is now available for showing should you like to make an appointment to see it. Of course, social distancing, a masks for all in the group, gloves etc. will be required prior to entering the property.

  1. Ha! So timely. I’m signing my escrow docs today at 4pm for a move from Oakland. In fact that’s why I started following this blog!
