Hello Skiers and RidersThis morning I woke up to “less than dust on crust” covering yesterday’s snow surface. Within a few hours snow began to fall at a light, but steady pace. Winds were whipping around, but have died down late this afternoon. It is still snowing, but very lightly at this hour. My unofficial estimate is that the snow depth has increased 4 to 6 inches today. It is not much, but at least it looks like winter. I spoke to someone that skied Squaw Valley today who indicated it got better as the day progressed.
It is cold, in the teens this afternoon. Roads are very slippery so take it easy. More from me tomorrow after I get out on the hill for awhile.
Enjoy your day,
Andy
