We were sad to hear the news of the loss of Squaw Valley local Timy Dutton. Dutton was killed in skydiving incident near Lodi yesterday. It’s been many years since I have had any contact with Timy, and that has really left me at a loss for words. Miles Clark has posted a very nice little piece on Timy over at Snowbrains.com. We recommend checking out that story.
Moonshine Ink also has an interesting piece on the tragedy as well. It includes some very kind words from SVSH CEO Andy Wirth, who was also severely injured in a skydiving accident at the same jump center last year. Dutton and Wirth had become good friends over the years and reportedly jumped together on several occasions..
Our thoughts are with the friends and family of Timy Dutton today. We know he’s doing backflips somewhere.
