Alpine Meadow’s Avalanche Dog program was profiled in the Reno Gazette Journal today. While it’s not the only program in the country, it is one of the most well known. The dog team has already been the subject of many photos by local artist Keoki Flagg and pictured on trading cards handed out by patrollers and with kids’ meals.
